Description
The goji berry can also be planted outdoors as it is hardy. The red berries are delicious both fresh and dried. As the plant is a member of the nightshade family, all parts of the plant, apart from the berries, are poisonous.
Tips for growing:
- Soak the seeds in water for 24 hours
- Sprinkle over moist potting compost and do not cover
- Cover with cling film and make holes in it
- Leave the film open for 2 hours every two to three days
- Keep the soil moist but not wet
