Description
This variety develops perfectly spherical, bright red roots that are highly resistant to splitting. Featuring robust foliage and fine taproots, these radishes develop early and very uniformly, making them ideal for bunching.
Our Tips:
- Easy Sowing: Provided on a practical seed tape for perfect spacing every time.
- Versatile: Suitable for outdoor cultivation throughout spring, summer, and autumn.
- Extended Season: Also ideal for early and late crops in an unheated polytunnel (sow from late January or in September).
- Sowing Rate: 200–300 g per 100 m²; approx. 30–40 seeds per linear metre.
- Low Maintenance: Extremely undemanding - thrives in almost any soil type.
- Watering: Consistent moisture is key to preventing the radishes from bolting (flowering prematurely) or becoming woody and overly spicy.
- Pest Protection: Keep an eye out for flea beetles - protect your crop with horticultural fleece or keep the soil loose by regular hoeing.
