Sonnenerde Organic Compost Activator, 30 l

With this compost activator, you can easily and simply produce terra preta - highly fertile black earth - yourself. It contains biochar, primary rock material, and microbiology in exactly the right proportions, converting your compost into valuable terra preta. In this way, the loss of nutrients during composting can be reduced, while more high-quality compost is obtained. The black earth produced in this way can increasingly bind atmospheric nitrogen, meaning that further fertilization of your crops is no longer necessary.

How it works:
Mix in the compost activator during planting. Make sure you mix it in as well as possible for the best results. The optimal application amount is around 10 percent by volume (the equivalent of three bags of compost activator per cubic meter of compost starting material).
