Neudorff TerraVital Lawn Restorer, 4,50 kgs

TerraVital Lawn Restorer is composed of various fast-germinating premium grass varieties, Terra Preta, and an organic fertiliser. This blend is compatible with any lawn type and ensures that the grass grows broadly, establishing itself securely and permanently. Mycorrhizal fungi help to expand the root surface area, allowing for better absorption of nutrients and water. The result is a lush green, hard-wearing lawn carpet without any bare patches.

Application:

Preparing the Soil:

• Fertilise the lawn a few weeks before scarifying to strengthen it.
• Mow the dry lawn as short as possible and remove the clippings.
• For heavily overgrown areas, scarify several times—first lengthways and then crossways.
• The turf should be scored to a maximum depth of 3 mm to avoid damaging the roots.
• Remove loosened clippings, thatch, weeds, and moss with a rake.
• The optimal time is spring, between mid-April and late May, when the soil warms up and the grass is in full growth.
• In cases of severe thatch or moss, the process can be repeated in autumn between mid-September and mid-October.
• Avoid scarifying in summer when the lawn is under heavy use and exposed to high heat.
• Spring and autumn provide the lawn with the necessary rest for regeneration.

Sowing:

• Mix the bag of TerraVital Lawn Restorer thoroughly before sowing.
• Apply 30–40 g/m² evenly by hand or with a spreader onto the scarified area.
• The lawn should be spared from heavy use for a few weeks after sowing.
• Germination takes 1–3 weeks, depending on the weather.
• Do not sow at temperatures below 8 °C or above 28 °C.

IMPORTANT: Water Regularly

• It is vital to keep the area moist until the new grass becomes visible.
• Water daily if necessary to ensure the soil surface does not dry out during this period.

Mowing & Fertilising:

• Do not mow the lawn until at least 4 weeks after sowing. The new grass should be at least 8 cm long.
• Fertilise the area after 3–4 weeks.

Note: Only scarify lawn areas that are at least 2–3 years old. The grass in younger lawns is often not yet firmly rooted and may get pulled out during scarification.

Expert Tips:

• Using TerraVital Lawn Restorer on scarified areas does not replace comprehensive lawn care!
• Additional fertilisation with a lawn fertiliser is recommended in spring/summer to ensure a deep green, healthy lawn. A further application in autumn will help the lawn stay fit through the winter.
• Liming once a year prevents soil acidification early on and curbs the spread of moss and weeds.

Organo-mineral NPK fertiliser 2-1.5-3 with Iron, formulated with botanical substances, mixed lime, rock meal, charcoal, animal by-products, and live microorganisms.

Azet® Lawn Fertiliser (Component)

Organic NPK fertiliser 8-3-4 with Iron, formulated with botanical substances, animal by-products, and live microorganisms.

• 3.0% Total Phosphate (P₂O₅):
  • 2.4% Neutral ammonium citrate-soluble Phosphate (P₂O₅)
• 4.0% Total Potassium Oxide (K₂O)
• 0.6% Iron (Fe)

Raw Materials: Botanical substances from food, beverage, and feed production, animal by-products (Category 3 material according to Regulation (EC) No 1069/2009: feather meal, bone meal, leather meal), live microorganisms (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, B. licheniformis, B. megaterium, B. pumilus, Rhizophagus irregularis).
