Creating Terra Preta yourself in just one step has never been easier. With this Black Soil concentrate, garden soil can be turned into a fertile growing base that gives plants the best possible start. 100% natural and completely free from chemicals.

Thanks to its intensive, long maturation in small compost heaps, this concentrate is fully plant-friendly. It sits between ready-to-use black soil and a soil activator or fertiliser.

Application:

• Work the Black Soil Concentrate evenly into the soil. Use at least 10 l per m², up to a maximum ratio of 1:1. The more concentrate is incorporated, the faster Terra Preta will develop.
• Apply the concentrate to the soil as a mulch layer, for example at a thickness of 5 cm. Young plants can be planted directly into the concentrate. Hard-working earthworms will then take care of mixing it into the soil.
• When planting shrubs and trees, a few litres of concentrate can be added directly to the planting hole to support strong growth right from the start.

Production:
Sonnenerde Black Soil Concentrate is composted with organic biochar and rock dust in carefully balanced proportions. After 4 weeks, 10% clay is added. After a further 4 weeks of maturation, the concentrate is screened from the compost to 8 mm. The result is mainly “charged” organic biochar with an ideal balance of microorganisms and nutrients.

• The delivery is usually within 2-3 working days after the order is placed.
• Please note: The delivery takes place by truck without a crane. Unloading takes place using a tail lift with a pallet truck. The Big-Bag will be transported to the kerbside and handed over.
