Description
Marigold should be planted in a sunny location in normal garden soil. It is ideal as a filler between vegetables as it repels soil pests and regulates soil fertility. Sowing it near tomatoes, potatoes, and parsley is also recommended. With its prolific blooms in various shades of golden-yellow and brown and long flowering period, it is a striking beautifying addition to flowerbeds, borders, and balcony boxes well into autumn. The flowers are also resistant to rain.
