Description
The upright thick stalks and green leaves are harvested in this celery variety, also known as blanched celery. In autumn, the plants are earthed up around the base for 10 to 14 days, or the stalks are wrapped in paper or black film to blanch them, ensuring a milder flavour and crisp texture.
