The soil is specially tailored to meet the needs of Mediterranean and citrus plants and promotes strong roots as well as the formation of flavourful fruit. Its excellent water and nutrient storage capacity promotes growth while the proportion of expanded clay ensures it retains its structure and stability in the pot. The substrate consists of plant materials, clay and an organic slow-release NPK fertiliser which fertilises plants for 4 weeks.
