Description
This St. John's wort bears a profusion of yellow, star-shaped flowers. They have a pleasant smell and their intense colour is visible from a distance, thus they attract butterflies and bees. A wonderful addition to perennial borders in sunny locations.
Our tips:
- Light germinator - do not cover seeds with soil, just press them down lightly
- Transplant seedlings individually into pots or into a seedbed
- Transplant from early summer
- Direct sowing outdoors from May; thin out soon after germination
- Prune in autumn
- Provide light winter protection
