Description
Its savoury, sweet taste makes the parsnip an excellent root vegetable and a great alternative to carrots. Both the roots and the young leaves can be used in cooking. The roots can be harvested in winter and store well.
Our tips:
- When sowing, make sure the soil is warm
- After germination, thin out the seedlings and place them 10 cm apart
- Protect from mice
