Description
This autumn carrot is of the type "long red blunt without core" and produces cylindrical, almost coreless carrots with a savoury flavour and a length of up to 25 cm. They are suitable for eating fresh and for storage. Very resistant to black rot and carrot blight.
Tips:
- Thin out seedlings soon after germination
- For heavy, loamy soils, grow in mounded ridges
- Vegetable nets and planting together with leeks and onions offer protection from carrot fly infestations
