Choosing the right transformer
To determine the required capacity for your transformer, simply sum up the total wattage of all planned light fixtures.
A practical tip: Account for a power reserve of approximately 10–20%. This prevents overloading during continuous operation and ensures that the transformer operates efficiently, even in high summer temperatures.

Flexibility through modular expansion
Thanks to modular plug-and-play systems, you can adapt your pond lighting to new requirements at any time. Whether it’s an additional spotlight for a newly planted water lily or another RGB element for more vibrant colour—integration is a breeze with the correct 2-pin (for single-colour LEDs) or 4-pin (for RGB) extension cables and distributors.

A technically compatible system consisting of a transformer, cables, and controllers guarantees:

• Easy installation: Thanks to plug-and-play connections, there is no need for tedious cable stripping.
• Safety: All components feature the appropriate IP ratings (e.g. IP44 or IP68) for outdoor use.
• Future-proofing: You can start small and expand your lighting system step-by-step over the years without needing to replace the entire wiring loom.

Upgrading to smart controls
Would you like to do more than just switch your lights on and off? Perhaps dim the brightness or select colours via your smartphone? By integrating a compatible controller between the transformer and the lights, you can make your system "smart" in an instant. This allows you to create automated schedules or adjust the lighting mood comfortably from your outdoor seating area.
