Description
Due to increased improvements in home construction and better insulation, it's becoming increasingly difficult for bats to find a suitable shelter for themselves and their offspring. You can help support your local bat population by providing a safe shelter for them near your home with the "Silhouette" bat box. It's suitable for several species of small bats, offering them protection and a safe place to sleep and raise their young.
Location: Fix the box to your house facade in a spot that is covered and sheltered from the wind and heavy rain. If you choose to put up multiple bat boxes, make sure they are at least 10 m apart because males behave aggressively towards other males during the mating season.
