Description
The Border Spade is slightly narrower than the Digging Spade, making it the ideal tool for working in confined spaces such as densely planted beds and borders. It is also perfect for those who prefer a shorter, lighter tool. Its ash wood handle features a Y-grip that is double riveted at the base to ensure stability. Its extra-long, double-riveted, strapped socket provides flexibility and added strength at this important joint. The spade has been load tested to 90kg, which far exceeds the British Standard of 55kg. These impressive features have gained the BoronGreen series an endorsement by the RHS, The UK's Royal Horticultural Society.
