Description
This dark green organic romaine lettuce is an Austrian specialty and is very resilient even at cooler temperatures. It forms heads of an ideal size and is perfect for a delicious fresh salad as well as for cooking.
Our tips:
- Pre-culture from February, direct sowing from April
- Optimal germination at 15°C soil temperature
- Harden off before planting out
- Cover seeds with soil to the thickness of the seed
- Requires a consistent water supply
- Sow evenly on a prepared outdoor bed
- Requires loose, humus-rich soil
