Description
This bolt-resistant variety has an excellent storage life and is ideal as an ingredient in salads, vegetable and meat dishes, and sauces.
Our tips:
- Optimal germination temperature: 20°C
- Cover seeds with soil to a depth equal to the seed thickness
- Keep evenly moist
- Sow evenly and later thin out to a spacing of 8 cm within the row
- Avoid excessive nitrogen fertilisation, as this impairs onion formation, ripening, and storage life
- For autumn sowing, the foliage should be approx. 10 cm high for overwintering
- In snowless winters and exposed locations, there is a risk of winterkill
