Description
Cyprus trees classicly grow in Italy. The trees create a Mediterranean atmosphere on the terrace or in the front garden and are easy to maintain as a potted plant. The conical growth and the year-round foliage (needles) make them popular plants. The occasionally leaking resin gives off a pleasant smell. It was only in the 17th century that cypress trees found their way to Central European greenhouses. The trees are also very resistant to drought and are pest-free.
