Description
The caper bush forms hard and salt-tolerant roots, which is why it grows easily in close proximity to the sea. The fleshy, oval leaves are blue-green in color. The exotic-looking flowers are quite large, bright white, and have long stamens.
The tasty capers can be used as desired. Dried and pickled, they give Mediterranean dishes that certain something.
