Description
Mung bean sprouts have a sweet and nutty flavour. Easy to grow at home, they are incredibly versatile in culinary use. Enjoy them as a topping or as an ingredient in stir-fries, smoothies, salads, wraps, and more. They turn every meal into a special highlight, adding a crispy and fresh touch.
Sprouts:
- Rinse the seeds and soak for 6-8 hours.
- Place them in a sprouting jar in a bright location and allow them to germinate.
- Rinse several times with fresh water.
Microgreens:
- Spread the seeds evenly in a tray (use soil, cotton wool or kitchen paper if desired). Do not sow too densely.
- Place in a bright location and allow them to germinate.
- Water twice a day.
The sprouts can be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for a few days. Please ensure proper hygiene during the growing process.
