Description
The Rotin variety is a medium-early, blunt and smooth-shelled carrot that turns red-orange early in its growth. It doesn't grow green heads and is very juicy and rich in carotenes. The sweet-tasting carrots can be enjoyed raw, in salads, cooked or stewed. They taste great in mixed veggie dishes, stews, soups or freshly squeezed juices. They can also be frozen.
- Tip: cover with a net to protect from carrot flies.
