Description
The Tulip Tree is native to North America and, as a member of the magnolia family, belongs to what is arguably the oldest lineage of living flowering plants. The tree bears cup-shaped flowers that are around 10 cm in size. With their light colour and orange spots, they resemble tulips or magnolia blossoms. The tulip tree can easily be transplanted outdoors and is winter hardy after a few years.
