Description
The Tropical Tomato Tree grows very quickly and can easily reach ceiling height as an indoor plant. The small red or yellow coloured fruits have a taste that is similar to a tomato. If harvested shortly before ripening, they are sweet and sour in taste. They can be eaten raw or steamed.
Tips for cultivation:
- Scatter seeds on moist potting soil and cover lightly
- Cover with cling film and provide it with holes
- Remove the film for about 2 hours every two to three days
- The substrate should be kept moist, but not wet
