Sea buckthorn is originally native to Nepal and is also known as the "Lemon of the North". If not pruned, it can reach a considerable height. Its orange fruits are edible and also provide a rich food source for birds. But exercise caution while harvesting - as the name suggests, sea buckthorn has nasty thorns!
