Description
The Giant Snow Banana grows exceptionally fast and can reach a height of 1 m after just four months. Its large leaves give it an impressive appearance. With appropriate protective measures, it is possible to overwinter the Snow Banana outdoors - however, to be on the safe side, move it to a milder environment.
Tips for cultivation:
- Lightly roughen the seeds with sandpaper
- Then let them soak in water for 24 hours
- Press the seeds approx. 1 cm deep into moist potting soil
- Cover with cling film and poke holes in it
- Remove the film every two to three days for 2 hours
- Keep the substrate moist but not wet
