Description
The Darjeeling banana originates from the Himalayan region and is therefore quite winter hardy in areas with mild winters. If cultivating in a pot, choose a container that is large enough as this plants grows very quickly.
Tips for cultivation:
- Roughen seeds with sandpaper
- Allow to soak in water for 12 hours
- Press seeds into moist potting soil and cover lightly
- Cover with cling film and poke holes in it
- Remove the film for 2 hours every two to three days
- Keep substrate moist but not wet
