Description
Also known as the golden poppy, this plant grows even in dry and nutrient-poor soils and is generally very low-maintenance. It fills your garden in the months of May and June with its beautiful blossoms and reseeds on its own.
Our tips:
- Pre-culture from March, direct sowing from mid-May
- Light germinator - do not cover the seeds with soil when sowing, but only press them down lightly
- Very easy to care for
- Cut off flowers before seed formation if you want to prevent excessive spreading
- Regularly remove withered flowers to stimulate bloom formation
- Water potted plants daily; in the open ground, only after longer dry periods
- Seeds can be collected in September for sowing the following year
