Description
The Bay Laurel tree is not only a beautiful evergreen tree, it is also the source of bay leaves, a spice used to add a wonderful flavour to soups, stews and more. The fresh leaves have a much more intensive aroma than dried ones. It thrives in a planter and does particularly well in full sun.
Tips for growing:
- Soak seeds in water for 24 hours
- Place approx. 1 cm deep in moist potting soil
- Cover with cling film and prick it to makes holes
- Remove the film for about 2 hours every two to three days
- Keep the soil moist but not wet
