Description
The beauty of the African Wisteria is hard to beat. From spring to summer, it bears drooping bunches of flowers in beautiful shades of blue and violet. It is easy to grow in a container, but can also be trained as a bonsai. As a young plant, it prefers a partially shaded spot; but as it matures, it requires a warm, full-sun location.
Tips for cultivation:
- Can be cultivated all year round
- Soak seeds in water for 24 hours
- Sow the seeds in moist potting compost
- Cover with cling film and poke holes in it
- Remove the film every two to three days for two hours
- Keep the soil moist but not wet
