Description
Native to South Africa, the African Lily is also known by the poetic name "Lily of the Nile". The stems, which can reach up to 2 m in height, bear impressive globe-shaped flowers that bloom for weeks. Which means you can enjoy this plant for several months in summer. Plus, it is fairly low-maintenance.
Tips for cultivation:
- Spread the seeds on moist potting soil and cover only lightly
- Cover with cling film and poke holes in it
- Remove the film for approx. 2 hours every two to three days
- The substrate should be kept moist but not wet
