Koti is Finnish for 'home', and, as the name suggests, this stylish bird house from pidät offers a safe sanctuary for many species of garden birds such as tits, pied flycatchers, nuthatches, and sparrows. They can enter through the 32mm hole, where they'll be safe from predators and woodpeckers.

Handcrafted in Portugal from non-toxic, heat-treated pine wood and glazed ceramic, the bird house features a roughened texture on the inside below the opening to help birds climb out more easily.

You can fix the bird house to a wall using the wooden batten and remove it when needed. The open back makes cleaning simple before the breeding season begins.

Tips:

• Attach the bird house to a wall at a height of 1.5 - 4.5 m above the ground.
• The manufacturer recommends taking it down for thorough cleaning every year, storing it indoors over the winter and putting it up again in spring.
