Description
This UV-C bulb is suitable as a replacement bulb in UV-C water clarifiers.
If your pond or aquarium water takes on a white or greenish hue, it is usually because of the presence of microorganisms, algae, bacteria and viruses. With a UV-C clarifier you can reduce the number of microorganisms in your aquarium because UV-C light has a disinfecting effect on the water. Turbidity causing matter as well as unpleasant odours will disappear pretty quickly. The UV-C bulb should be replaced once a year as it loses its luminosity and thus its effectiveness over time.
