Description

Nettle Pellets is a pure, natural herbal product derived from stinging nettles, which are pressed into pellets using a specialised process. When mixed with water, they are ideal for preparing nettle liquid manure (jauche). While the fermentation process takes a few days, the resulting broth can be used in diluted form for watering or spraying. Nettle Pellets is an excellent supplementary care product for heavy feeders such as cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, or pumpkins.

  • Supports growth, flowering, and fruit set, while strengthening the plants
  • Pure, natural herbal preparation
  • To be used as a supplement to a balanced fertiliser
  • Approved for organic farming in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848

Application: Regularly water (approx. 1 litre/m²) or spray fruit, vegetables, and ornamental plants with nettle liquid manure every 14 days throughout the entire growing season.

  • Preparing the nettle liquid manure:
    • Mix 150 g of nettle pellets with 10 litres of water.
    • Encourage the fermentation process by stirring daily.
    • Fermentation is complete after 7–10 days.
  • Dilution for further use:
    • Watering application: Dilute the fermented nettle manure to 10% with water (e.g., top up 1 litre of nettle manure with 9 litres of water = 10 litres of ready-to-use broth).
    • Spraying application: Dilute 2 litres of fermented nettle manure with 3 litres of water (equivalent to 5 litres of ready-to-use broth) and pour into the sprayer through a sieve.

Specific Application Notes:

  • Water tomato plants generously, particularly during the first flowering period.
  • Heavy feeders such as cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, and pumpkins, as well as many perennials where rapid growth is crucial, respond very well to nettle broth.
  • For fruit trees, a post-flowering spray with diluted nettle broth has a beneficial effect on fruit set.
  • Provide raspberry plants with diluted nettle broth once a week until the leaves are a vibrant, strong green.

Note: Nettle Pellets is not a substitute for a balanced organic fertiliser, but should be used as a supplementary or preventative treatment.
