Description
The wild carrot is the wild form of the well-known carrot and is often referred to as the parent plant of the garden carrot. Its roots are tender and aromatic when young, but become thin and woody over time, whilst retaining their intense taste. The seeds are also edible and are used in a variety of ways, from contraception to bread spices.
