Description
Greek oregano is very aromatic and is an indispensable ingredient in many Mediterranean recipes. The leaves can be used both fresh and dried while its fragrant white flowers are a magnet for beneficial insects.
Tips:
- Light germinator - do not cover the seeds with soil, just press them down lightly
- After germination, transplant 4 to 5 seedlings per pot and continue growing in a slightly cooler place
- Transplant outdoors from May
- For drying the leaves, harvest the leaves when the plant is in full bloom
- Cut the plant back in autumn and cover with mulch
