Description
This bush bean is also suitable for growing in raised beds and containers. It bears many yellow, fleshy, stringless pods that grow up to 18 cm long and are easy to harvest. As it fixes nitrogen from the air, it is important for crop rotation.
Our tips:
- Needs warm soil temperatures, do not sow too early
- Can also be sown in groups (4 to 6 seeds per hole)
- Thin out seedlings soon after germination
- Protect from bean fly infestation with a vegetable net
- Harvest regularly for high yields
- Not suitable for eating raw
- Blanch and freeze for preservation
