Description

The colourful, ripe beans of this variety are a typical ingredient in Italian cuisine and indispensable in many dishes. The pods can be harvested when they are around 11 to 12 cm long and yellowish in colour.

Tips:

  • Direct outdoor sowing from May - requires relatively warm soil
  • Can also be sown in groups (4 to 6 seeds per hole)
  • Protect with vegetable netting against bean fly infestation
  • Dry the seeds for storage
  • Not suitable for eating raw
