Description

This early to medium-early bush bean bears many purple, fleshy, stringless and intensely aromatic pods. The colour fades to green when cooked. Pretty purple flowers develop into 14 - 15 cm long, slender, tender and flavourful pods. Bluevetta is a very high-yielding variety. It is naturally robust and resistant to Ascochyta blight, halo blight and the bean mosaic virus. As a nitrogen-fixing plant, they are important for crop rotation.
