Description
With its dark red leaves and intense aroma, this basil variety is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Pink summer flowers further enhance the decorative effect. The leaves can be used fresh, frozen in portions or as a pesto.
Tips:
- Light germinator - do not cover the seeds with soil, just press them down lightly
- Can be grown indoors all year round
- After germination, transplant 3 to 4 seedlings to a pot and continue growing in a slightly cooler place
- Plant outdoors starting in mid-May
