Our tips:
- The seed band can be laid out under fleece from February
- Germination temperature: 10-16°C
- When laying out the seed tape, water it before covering with soil to ensure it remains secure
- Row spacing: 30-35cm
- Always keep moist
- Requires loose, humus-rich soil - heavy soils are unsuitable
- Fertilise very carefully - lettuce is sensitive to salt
