Description

This hardy, perennial marjoram is a high-value pollinator plant and a staple kitchen herb. While it is famous for adding a distinctive aroma to tomato-based dishes, its versatile flavour profile complements a wide range of Mediterranean recipes.

Our Tips:

  • Light Germinator: These seeds require light to sprout. Do not cover them with soil; simply press them gently into the surface of your seed-starting mix.
  • Versatility: Suitable for both indoor Start seeds indoors: and direct outdoor sowing.
  • Timing: For early starts, sow in a greenhouse from February and transplant (plant out) from April.
  • Sowing Rate: For direct outdoor sowing, use approximately 40–50 g of seed per 100 m².
