Description
The 'Liefje' pickling cucumber produces slightly thicker fruits with a glossy skin and excellent flavour. This variety is characterised by a long harvesting season and high yields. While perfect for preserving, these juicy, fruity cucumbers are also delicious when eaten fresh.
Our Tips:
- Cucumbers require warm temperatures for germination (25–28 °C).
- Young plants should still be relatively small when transplanted (planted out).
- These robust cucumbers grow easily in standard garden beds.
- Begin harvesting approximately two weeks after flowering.
- Regular harvesting encourages the plant to continue producing new blooms and fruit.
