Description
This fast-growing, green oakleaf lettuce is exceptionally well-suited for early forcing under fleece or glass and can be grown outdoors all year round. It produces compact, densely packed, firm heads with healthy foliage and a delightfully crisp, fresh flavour. Its reliability and quick growth make it a guaranteed success for young gardeners just starting out.
Our Tips:
- Germination Temperature: 15 to 20°C.
- Sowing & Planting: For outdoor crops, start seeds from February (plant out from March). For greenhouse cultivation, start from December (plant out from late January).
- Optimal Spacing:
- Greenhouse: approx. 16 plants per m².
- Outdoors: approx. 11–12 plants per m².
