This versatile variety is suitable for harvesting as fresh dill fronds, bunching dill, or for seed. With its pleasant, aromatic flavour, dill is the perfect herb for enhancing fish dishes and a wide variety of other meals.
Our Tips:
- Germination: Be patient, as dill has a relatively long germination phase.
- Sowing rate: approx. 80 seeds per linear metre.
- Direct sowing: 80 to 120 g per 100 m². For concentrated production of dill fronds, use up to 400 g per 100 m² with narrower row spacing.
- Dill thrives best in cooler weather conditions.
- Note that summer sowings tend to bolt (go to seed) quickly due to the heat.
