Description
This large-tubed chive variety impresses with its vigorous, upright growth and is exceptionally well-suited for outdoor cultivation. With its attractive, vibrant purple flower heads, chives also make a stunning and functional edible border for garden beds.
Our Tips:
- Sowing: Start seeds indoors: from late February or sow directly outdoors from March.
- Container Gardening: For pot culture, choose containers with a minimum volume of 5 litres to allow the root system to thrive.
- Maintenance: We recommend repotting annually into fresh, nutrient-rich compost to maintain vigour.
- Watering: Ensure a consistent water supply, especially during dry spells, to keep the stems tender and juicy.
