Description
The robust dwarf bean variety 'Marona' is well-suited even for cooler, more exposed locations. The long pods, reaching 17 to 18 cm, appear very early in the season and boast an exceptionally aromatic flavour.
Our Tips:
- Do not sow bean seeds too deeply.
- Once seedlings have emerged, "earth up" the soil around the base of the plants to improve stability.
- Feeding (fertilising) is not necessary.
- Water generously during the flowering and pod-forming stages.
- When growing in pots, ensure consistent and regular watering.
- Important: Raw beans are toxic; always ensure they are cooked thoroughly before eating.
