The mixed-flowering slicing cucumber "Arola" produces long fruits with medium to dark green skin. This robust variety is highly resistant to pests and diseases.

Our Tips:

  • The optimal germination temperature is between 25 and 28 °C.
  • Seedlings should still be relatively small when transplanted.
  • The plants require a minimum temperature of 12 °C to thrive.
  • Do not pinch out the side shoots, as this is where the fruit is formed.
  • The side shoots should be trained upwards as they grow.
  • Cultivation is possible both outdoors and in a greenhouse.
  • Cucumbers should only be grown on the same patch of soil once every four years.
