This well-known Italian variety produces finely curled, appetizingly red-coloured leaves that taste excellent as a fresh salad.
Our tips:
- Optimal germination temperature: 15°C
- Sowing in cold frames or greenhouses from February
- Can also be grown in window boxes
- Cover seeds with soil to a depth equal to the seed thickness
- Keep evenly moist
- Harvest possible as leaf or head lettuce
